Bugoy Drilon’s life caught the attention and the sympathy of the viewers during his successful stint in Pinoy Dream Academy Season II. Now, the highlights of his life prior to the contest are featured in a special Maaalaala Mo Kaya episode. Mark Bautista, himself a product of a singing contest and another used-to-be poor promdi, takes on the role of Bugoy in this episode aptly entitled “Kalabaw” in honor, perhaps of Goofy, Bugoy’s infamous carabao.
