Truly, cancer strikes anyone.

Rapper and songwriter Francis Magalona, renowned for his rap hit song “Mga Kababayan” released in 1990 has recently been diagnosed with leukemia, entertainment portal PEP reported earlier today. He is currently needing blood donations (Type O) and platelet donations are as well accepted. Those who will be extending a helping hand to Mr. Francis M and his family through blood donations may proceed to The Medical City (lower ground) located along Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City. Donations may be made in the name of Francis Magalona.

Francis Magalona is the son of matinee idol Pancho Magalona and actress Tita Duran. He is married to Pia Arroyo and is blessed with eight children including the young actress Maxene Magalona.
