Clay Aiken officially becomes a father to a bouncing baby boy born August 8, 2008 at 8:08 am weighting 6 lbs 2 oz and 19 inches long. The dark-haired baby boy, named Parker Foster Aiken was conceived by Clay’s best friend, producer Jaymes Aiken through in vitro fertilization.

Clay lives with his best friend when he’s in Los Angeles. Reports say that he’s planning to be involved in the rearing the child.

The singer, who found his way to stardom when he joined American Idol on its 2nd season in 2003 has consistently avoided questions regarding his sexuality.
