David Cook’s “Time of My Life” takes the number 1 spot at Billboard 100’s Hot Digital Songs Chart. The song also registers in the Billboard Hot 100 songs at number 3.
“Time of My Life” emerged as the winner among the thousands of entries to the 2008 American Idol Songwriter’s Competition written by Regie Hamm. Like “This is My Now”, Jordin Spark’s finale song after she was announced as last season’s winner, the song will not be released physically, although it is not available at all retailers of digital songs.
