This is what seems to be the case for Ms. Spears after her second appearance in How I Met Your Mother

(HIMYM) ended with a proposal last Monday, May 12.

Britney’s first appearance on the show raked in ratings giving that particular episode she was in HIMYM’s

highest rating since the show debuted. This prompted producers to bring back Britney despite the vocal protests from Neil Patrick Harris.

In her second appearance on May 12, the ditzy Abby (Britney Spears) gets a wedding proposal from Barney

(Neil Patrick Harris) in his attempt to make Ted (Josh Radnor) jealous. However, Abby misinterprets it for a real wedding proposal.

Hmmm… so what do you think? Will Britney’s cameo role turn into something more permanent? How did this particular episode fare? If her second appearance once again drove in viewers, a third episode for Ms. Spears will no longer surprise us at all.
